Safety devices for construction vehicles

Abstract

This product is a safety device for construction vehicles, such as excavators, that is attached to the caterpillar track structure. As shown in the reference diagram illustrating the state of use, this product can be attached magnetically to the inner surface of the frame supporting the idler of the caterpillar track structure. When attached to the caterpillar track structure, this product extends forward along the inner surface of the caterpillar track structure, and a bent portion that curves forward and outward from the caterpillar track structure is installed so as to protrude along the width of the caterpillar track structure, leaving a gap between it and the front of the caterpillar track structure. The forward-extending portion and the cylindrical body formed in the bent portion are made of a soft material such as urethane resin. By attaching this product to the caterpillar track structure, it is possible to prevent accidents by having obstacles or people approaching the construction vehicle hit this product before contact accidents with the caterpillar track structure occur.
