Abstract
This product is an evolved version of the pants (design registration No. 1728650) specifically designed for pet waste disposal, allowing urination to occur outside while the pet is wearing it. It is a waterproof pocket-integrated type of the "Pet Pants with Detachable Pocket (Urine-Collecting Type)" (design registration No. 1797208). Female dogs have a problem where urine also enters the pocket due to the close proximity of their urethra and anus, but this product turns that drawback into an advantage, collecting urine in the pocket as well. An absorbent material is placed inside the pocket for use. The pet's tail is passed through the hole at the top of the pants, and their hind legs are passed through the holes on the sides to put them on. The pet's own tail holds the pocket of the pants in place, ensuring that feces and urine enter the pocket. The tail passage also prevents leakage of feces and urine after they have entered the pocket and can be adjusted with a stopper. The aim is to improve the environment around the pet's rear end and reduce the burden of pet care on the owner by making it less likely for feces and urine to come into direct contact with the pet. Furthermore, it features an integrated waterproof pocket, making it suitable for dogs that eat their own feces, a problem that conventional pocket-removable types could not handle. It is intended for use in pet care, coprophagia prevention, and preventing contamination of the house or the pet itself while left alone.
