Abstract
This article is a chute scraper for scraping out fresh concrete remaining on a chute, and can also be used for cleaning the chute. This chute scraper comprises a plate and a telescopic handle that is detachably attached to the plate using bolts. The plate includes a semicircular flat section and a rectangular bent section bent at a right angle to it. The flat section is responsible for scraping and cleaning the chute, while the bent section is for increasing the strength of the plate. In particular, the arc-shaped portion of the flat section is for scraping out fresh concrete remaining on a U-shaped chute. The flat section and the bent section each have one hole for attaching the telescopic handle using bolts. The main form variation of this design arises from the attachment position of the telescopic handle to the plate. In the first attachment configuration, the telescopic handle is attached to the hole in the flat section using bolts. This configuration is suitable for scraping out and cleaning fresh concrete remaining on a U-shaped chute. In this configuration, the hole in the bent section becomes a hole for hanging the scraper on a hanging bracket during storage. In the second mounting configuration, the telescopic handle is attached to the hole in the bent section using a bolt. This configuration is suitable for using the chute scraper as a shovel. In the third mounting configuration, the handle is attached to the hole in the flat section from the opposite side (compared to the first mounting configuration). The extension and retraction of the telescopic handle is also a factor in the configuration changes.
