Abstract

This item is underwear equipped with an absorbent section. The absorbent section is a part woven from absorbent fibers and is provided in a band shape from the front to the back on the inner surface of the item facing the crotch. The item has a first opening formed on the outer surface of the front and a second opening formed on the inner surface of the back. The first and second openings are connected via a tubular section, which is part of the absorbent section. The first opening, which is connected to one end of the tubular section, is connected to a bag-shaped section, which is part of the absorbent section. The bag-shaped section is folded back at the first opening and housed inside the tubular section. The absorbent section is elastic and can be turned inside out by spreading the tubular section at the second opening so that the inner surface of the tubular section becomes the outer surface. The reference diagram shows the tubular section in the turned-inside-out state. By turning the tubular section inside out, the entire tubular section and bag-shaped section are exposed, making it possible to wash the absorbent section thoroughly.
