Wiring box

Abstract

The article relating to the present design is a wiring box for mounting switches, outlets, etc., on a wall surface. To locate the position of a piping box installed inside the wall, a magnet, which can be detected from the wall surface side by a magnet detector, is held in the center of the front opening of the wiring box by a magnet holder. As shown in "Perspective View 5", the magnet holder is arranged to extend forward from the rear wall of the wiring box and has a holder that holds the magnet at its front end and a compression spring that biases the holder to its normal position at the front end of the front opening. When fixing the wiring box to a stud or the like by inserting screws through the insertion holes in its side wall, the magnet holder can be moved backward from its normal position against the elastic restoring force of the compression spring, as shown in "Perspective View 5" and "Reference Perspective View showing the state in which the holder has been moved backward". Rectangular strips of aluminum tape are attached to the left and right sides of the front opening of the wiring box, as shown in "Perspective View 1," "Perspective View 2," "Reference Perspective View 1 with Aluminum Tape Removed," and "Reference Perspective View 2 with Aluminum Tape Removed."
