Ball game toys

Abstract

This item is a rail-shaped toy in which a ball is rolled along a groove while the toy is tilted. Multiple of these items can be combined to extend the length of the ball's roll, and as illustrated in Reference Figure 3 which shows the state of use, multiple of these items can be combined with other toys to change the direction and height of the ball's roll. A recess is formed on the bottom surface, so that the recess can be hooked onto the corner of a support member that holds the item in an tilted position, thus stabilizing the tilted position. The top edge in the front view is curved at the left and right ends, so that when a ball is placed on the upper end of the tilted item, the ball will not roll off until it is struck. In other words, when a ball of a diameter that rests on both sides of the groove without contacting the bottom of the groove in the portion excluding the aforementioned end (see the right diagram in Reference Figure 1 and the lower diagram in Reference Figure 2 showing the usage state), at the upper end of the inclined article, because the upper edge is curved, the ball comes into contact with the bottom of the groove, and the curved portions on both sides of the groove become an obstacle to the ball's rolling (see the left diagram in Reference Figure 1 and the upper diagram in Reference Figure 2 showing the usage state). In this state, if an impact is applied to the ball, the ball will overcome the curved portion and roll down along the groove. Reference Figure 1 showing the usage state is a view from the left side of the relationship between the article and the ball, which is inclined so that the left side is higher in the front view, and Reference Figure 2 showing the usage state is a partial view of the article and the ball in the same state, viewed from the front.
