Corner baseboard

Abstract

The article relating to this design is a base member for an outside corner baseboard used for joining baseboards at the lower corner of a wall. As shown in (Reference Figure 1), it is used by fitting the outside corner baseboard base and the outside corner cover member together. The tip of the part of the outside corner baseboard into which the baseboard is inserted is bent inwards and has a barb on the insertion part to prevent it from coming off. As shown in (Reference Figure 2), the outside corner baseboard cover and the outside corner baseboard are made less likely to come off by pushing the convex part of the outside corner baseboard base into the concave part on the back of the outside corner cover. As shown in (Reference Figure 3), the part that is inserted into the recess on the wall side of the baseboard is made of a thin hard resin less than 1 mm thick, so that the part that is inserted into the recess on the wall side of the baseboard can be deformed with just the force of a finger, and the outside corner baseboard is inserted into the insertion groove of the baseboard into the recess on the wall side of the baseboard to attach it.
