Catheter fixation dressing

Abstract

This product is a dressing material for catheter fixation (especially used when fixing a CV port), which is used by attaching it to the affected area, as shown in, for example, "Reference diagram showing an example with only the central release paper removed" and "Reference diagram showing an example with all three release papers removed". The release paper consists of three layers (see A-A' line end view and reference B-B' enlarged section showing the names of each part). By first removing the central release paper 1, when applying the adhesive side of the film tape, an Ω shape can be naturally formed (see Reference diagram showing an example with only the central release paper removed), preventing the tube from touching the skin for a long time. Furthermore, the Ω shape ensures that the height of the tube and the Huber needle are aligned, which reduces the wobbling of the Huber needle.
