Abstract

This instrument is a percussion instrument consisting of tone bars and resonating tubes. Sound is produced by striking the tone bars with a mallet. The longer the tone bar, the lower the pitch, and the shorter the tone bar, the higher the pitch. As shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing Usage," playing multiple tone bar percussion instruments side by side allows for a wide range of pitches to be played.
