Abstract

This image is used to display information about the attitude of a device estimated using a gyro sensor, etc., and is displayed on the device itself or on an external display. Here, attitude information refers to information that represents the change in attitude due to left-right head movement called "pan" as a horizontal rotation angle, and information that represents the change in attitude due to up-down head movement called "tilt" as a vertical rotation angle. This image consists of a ring-shaped indicator and a rectangular indicator placed inside the ring. In this image, the direction that the viewpoint center (the line of sight vector representing the so-called "forward") was facing when the operation to define the reference position was performed is set to 0 degrees, the amount of change in attitude due to the horizontal rotation of the device is displayed on the ring-shaped indicator, and the amount of change in attitude due to the vertical rotation of the device is displayed on the rectangular indicator.
