Abstract

As shown in "Reference Figure 1 showing the state of use," this article is used, for example, in temporary scaffolding to connect two adjacent support columns. This article has a pair of cylindrical sections connected in a direction perpendicular to the axis direction of the cylinders. This article is fixed to the support column by inserting a flange fixed to the support column into the rear end of the cylindrical section and passing a wedge through the cylindrical section and the flange. Specifically, as shown in "Reference Figure 2 showing the state of use" and "Reference Figure 3 showing the state of use," the cylindrical section has a first opening at the rear end of each of the pair of cylindrical sections. In addition, the side surfaces of the pair of cylindrical sections have a second opening and a third opening that overlap radially. In this article, a protruding piece of the flange fixed to the two support columns is inserted into the first opening, and a fixing wedge is inserted through the hole formed in the protruding piece, the second opening, and the third opening.
