Abstract

This item is a protective bag (card sleeve) for trading cards used in trading card games. This protective bag is used to prevent damage to trading cards during gameplay. This protective bag consists of two resin films placed opposite each other. The thickness of this item is approximately 0.1 mm to 0.4 mm, but for the sake of illustration, the thickness is exaggerated in the right side view and top view. As shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing the State of Use" and the "Reference Diagram Showing the State When Inserting and Removing Cards," the edges of three sides of each film in the protective bag are bonded together and continuous, and a storage space for holding trading cards is formed between these pairs of films. The remaining edges of each film are not bonded together and are discontinuous, and a slit-shaped opening is formed between these remaining edges for inserting and removing trading cards from the storage space. The corners of the three edges where the pair of films are bonded together have a curved shape that is convex outwards when viewed from the front, while the connection between the three edges where the pair of films are bonded and the edge of the one edge where the pair of films are not bonded is approximately a right angle when viewed from the front. Therefore, when the protective bag is rotated 180 degrees around its center point when viewed from the front, the shape before rotation and the shape after rotation do not match. This makes it easy for anyone to determine the top and bottom of the protective bag, thus preventing cheating such as "using the protective bag upside down during a game to ensure that only the player can recognize a specific card from the deck, while preventing the opponent from recognizing that specific card."
