Nozzle joint socket

Abstract

The article relating to this design is used for irrigation in agriculture and is a socket for detachably holding a nozzle joint for connecting a nozzle to a desired location on a network of water distribution pipes laid out inside a greenhouse or the like. The article comprises a small-diameter cylindrical section fixed inside the upward pipe of a branch pipe and a large-diameter cylindrical section communicating with the small-diameter cylindrical section and having a threaded portion on its inner circumference. The large-diameter cylindrical section has four reinforcing ribs provided at equal intervals on its outer circumference. As shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing the State of Use," the nozzle joint can be properly held by screwing its lower end into the large-diameter cylindrical section of the article, while also being easily removable.
