Cable fasteners

Abstract

This article is a cable fastener for holding and fixing a cable disposed on the upper surface of a flange of a structural steel material, and comprises a holding portion for holding the cable, a base portion extending from the holding portion and positioned on the upper surface of the flange, and a clamping portion extending from the base portion to the lower surface of the flange and contacting the lower surface of the flange. The clamping portion clamps the flange together with the base portion, and the holding portion is positioned so that it does not overlap with the clamping portion when viewed in the vertical direction, thereby allowing the holding portion to be positioned relatively towards the base end of the flange. As shown in the reference diagram illustrating the usage, when arranging a cable on the flange of an H-shaped steel beam, the flange can be secured to the flange by clamping it with the base and clamping portion of this product, and holding the cable with the holding portion. At the same time, the holding portion is positioned closer to the base end of the flange than the depth of the suspension fitting (in the same direction as the width direction of the flange) of the suspension fitting that supports the structure attached to the flange of the H-shaped steel beam. Therefore, interference between the cable held by the holding portion and the suspension fitting can be avoided, and the cable can be secured.
