Abstract

This image shows how parameters such as pulse wave propagation time are extracted from pulse wave data and electrocardiogram data obtained from pulse wave sensors and electrocardiogram sensors attached to the body. These parameters are input into a blood pressure information calculation formula, and the calculated blood pressure information (systolic blood pressure, etc.) is continuously displayed on the monitor screen of a PC or smartphone, which is a medical or research-use biological information measurement display device. Analog waveforms of electrocardiogram data and pulse wave data can be displayed on the same screen in real time for each beat as needed, in synchronization with the continuous blood pressure information (see reference image Figure 1 showing the usage state). For continuous blood pressure information, a pre-set stable blood pressure information range (blood pressure information stable region) is displayed by changing the color or density of the screen, allowing real-time observation of whether the fluctuations in blood pressure information are stable.
