Abstract

The present design concerns the interior of a kitchen space in a house and an adjacent earthen floor space that is one step lower in floor level. A kitchen counter is installed in the kitchen space facing the earthen floor space, and the space between the kitchen counter and the wall serves as an entrance / exit area. A lattice door that slides from side to side is installed between the kitchen space and the earthen floor space.
