Abstract

This product is a processing device for processing workpieces made of conductive materials such as iron. In its operation, a workpiece exchange robot first removes the workpiece from the workpiece stocker and loads it into the wire electrical discharge machining (EDM) machine. After loading the workpiece, the wire EDM machine performs electrical discharge machining on the workpiece. After the EDM machining, the workpiece exchange robot removes the workpiece from the wire EDM machine and places it in the air blow unit. After the air blow unit removes any moisture adhering to the workpiece by air blowing, the workpiece exchange robot stores the workpiece from the air blow unit into the workpiece stocker, thus completing the series of operations. This processing device can process and exchange workpieces automatically and continuously.
