Abstract

A flexible light-diffusing member is placed on top of long, linearly arranged point light source modules within a deformable, elongated housing with a rectangular cross-section that is open at the top. The member diffuses the light emitted from the light-emitting modules to cause them to emit light. It has a diffusing section on its upper surface and a transparent section inside. Light from the light-emitting modules is transmitted from the transparent section to the diffusing section, causing it to emit light from the upper surface of the diffusing section. The sides have multiple protrusions on the surface to prevent shifting within the housing.
