Interior design of an office equipped with scientific and chemical experimental facilities.

Abstract

The office design described herein is divided by a transparent partition between an office area where work desks used for data analysis and other tasks are located, and an experimental area where physicochemical experiment equipment, including a fume hood, is located. Since the work desks and physicochemical experiment equipment are arranged in the same line, the experimental situation can be observed through transparent windows in the experimental equipment without having to move from the office area. Furthermore, researchers and staff can be seen from the passageways formed between the work desks and the physicochemical experiment equipment. A work desk is located in the center of the physicochemical experiment equipment, allowing for a clear view of the adjacent rows from near the work desk. This arrangement and configuration ensures an office interior with unobstructed views, even when numerous work desks and physicochemical experiment equipment are repeatedly arranged.
