Coil making machine for educational purposes

Abstract

This product is a machine tool for creating coils used in science education materials. In recent years, experiments with simple linear motor cars have been adopted as one way to explain electric current and magnetic fields in science education. However, I have heard that these experiments are not often conducted in class because the construction of these coils is difficult. To meet this need, we have developed a machine tool that is safe and easy to use. The machine tool is shown in Photo 1, the constructed coil is shown in Photo 2, and the rail made from the coil is shown in Photo 3.
