Handrail for freestanding handrails

Abstract

The article relating to the present design (hereinafter referred to as "the Article") is a handrail used in a freestanding handrail, and also a connecting member (joint) that can change the angle of a handrail directly or indirectly connected to the Article. As shown in "Reference Figure 1 showing the state of use," the freestanding handrail in which the Article is used is fixed to the upper end of a support column. Also, as shown in "Reference Figure 2 showing the state of use," the freestanding handrail in which the Article is used comprises a plurality of bases, support columns attached to each of the plurality of bases, the Article fixed to the upper end of at least one support column, and a handrail spanning two adjacent support columns.
