Cold air duct for refrigeration unit

Abstract

This product is a cold air duct for a refrigeration unit used to freeze and solidify the surface of soft food items, such as chunks of meat, placed on a metal conveyor belt, by blowing cold air from above or below, as shown in the reference diagram illustrating the product's usage. In the reference diagram illustrating the product's usage, this product is installed above the conveyor belt, but it can also be installed below the conveyor belt, either in place of or in conjunction with the above. One end of this product, as shown in the reference left side view, has an opening in the area indicated by the dashed line, and this opening constitutes the entrance to the internal space S1 of this product as shown in the AA cross-sectional view. As shown in the AA cross-sectional view, this product has downward-extending portions at both ends in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of this product, and a space S2 communicating with space S1 is formed inside these downward-extending portions, with the ends of the downward-extending portions forming open nozzles. Cold air generated by a device other than this article flows into space S1 through the aforementioned end opening of this article, then into space S2, and is blown out from the nozzle onto the food items on the conveyor belt.
