Eyeglass frame

Abstract

This article is a front frame for eyeglasses that holds lenses. Four protrusions are formed on the inner edge of the front frame, rising from the inner edge to hold the lenses. A groove for fitting the lens is formed in the center of each of the protrusions, as shown in the partial cross-sectional view and partial reference perspective view in direction II. As shown in the reference front view of an example of eyeglasses to which this design is applied, when the lens is fitted into the groove of the protrusion and held in the front frame, a gap is formed between the lens and the inner edge of the front frame. This gap gives the viewer a sense of depth and three-dimensionality, bringing a new aesthetic appeal to the front frame of the eyeglasses.
