Abstract

This product is a masking jig for paint border line tape used when painting vehicles and other objects. Border line tape is a special masking tape used to create clean divisions and boundaries (borders) when switching colors during painting. For example, it is used to accurately define the boundary line of a two-tone paint job, and its application is usually done by hand. This product is a jig that can dramatically improve the efficiency of this masking tape application work, which requires skilled technique. As shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing Usage," by using this jig with the desired size of border line tape attached and fixed, the worker can accurately, stably, and quickly apply the masking tape to the desired position on the object to be painted without requiring skilled technique.
