Abstract

This product is a temple for eyeglasses, comprising a mounting section for the front, a hinge, and an arm extending backward from the hinge. In this product, a wire continuous with the mounting section extends backward, then bends outward from a bending point, folds back into a U-shape, and then bends upward again. The link is rotatably mounted so as to be the axis of the upwardly bent wire, and the side of the link abuts against the outer side of the bending point of the wire continuous with the mounting section. The wire continuous with the arm is hook-shaped and attached to the link. With this configuration, if the temple is rotated too far outward, the link is pressed against the bending point of the wire continuous with the mounting section, thus preventing hair or other objects from getting caught between the link and the wire.
