Abstract
As shown in the "Reference Perspective View Showing Usage" and the "Reference Front View Showing Usage," this product is a long connector for connecting suspension pieces, such as chains, used to suspend a suspended scaffolding when it is installed on the underside of a structure such as a box girder of a bridge, with suspension pieces pre-attached to both sides of the structure at predetermined intervals along its extending direction. Furthermore, as shown in the "Reference Right Side View When Disengagement of Suspension Piece Locking Part is Allowed" and the "Reference Right Side View When Disengagement of Suspension Piece Locking Part is Prevented," the inner member has a suspension piece locking part at its upper end for hooking onto the suspension piece, and a cable locking part at its lower end for locking the cable. The inner member is inserted through the outer member, and the two are connected by a fixed projection on the upper part of the inner member and an elongated hole formed at the upper end of the outer member, as shown in the "Reference Enlarged Right Side View of the Upper Part of the Inner and Outer Members." This narrows the gap between the upper end of the outer member and the suspension piece, as shown in gap D2, preventing the suspension piece locking part from disengaging from the suspension piece. Furthermore, this article is configured such that, as shown in the "Reference enlarged front view of the upper part when preventing the suspension piece locking part from coming off," the outer member is moved upward relative to the inner member, and as shown in the "Reference enlarged front view of the upper part when allowing the suspension piece locking part to come off," the outer member is moved downward relative to the inner member, and the lock pins of the locking mechanism provided on the outer member fit into lock holes formed above and below the inner member, respectively, thereby restricting the movement of the outer member relative to the inner member.
