Abstract

This garment is a type of trousers in which the circumference of the belt portion can be adjusted to the wearer's waist circumference. An elastic belt, with both ends fixed, is inserted through an adjuster inside the belt portion. The adjuster is fixed in a position at an opening in the belt portion where a portion of the elastic belt is exposed. With the elastic belt sliding against the adjuster, the elastic belt is pulled at the opening to shorten the belt portion, then the elastic belt is fixed against the adjuster, and the excess portion of the elastic belt that has been pulled out is tucked into the belt portion through the opening edge. Once the adjustment is complete, the opening is covered with a flap.
