Abstract

This article is an electronic equipment rail mount for attaching electronic equipment such as current sensors to rails such as DIN rails. As shown in Reference Figure 1, this article comprises a base with a rail groove and a claw mounting section on the front side and a locking piece on the rear side, and a movable claw attached to the claw mounting section in a movable manner. The rail groove has a width and depth determined so that a rail fits into it, and a pair of fixed claws that lock onto the rail are provided on one side edge of the rail groove. As shown in Reference Figure 2, electronic equipment is attached to the rear side of the base in a fixed state by the locking piece. As shown in Reference Figures 3 and 4, the movable claw comprises a claw body and hooking pieces provided on both the left and right sides of the claw body. The tip of the claw body gradually decreases in thickness towards the tip. The tip of the hooking piece has projections extending outwards to the left and right, and these projections are hooked onto the claw mounting section. The movable claw is movable between the state shown in Reference Figure 1, where the tip of the claw body is retracted from the rail groove, and the state shown in Reference Figure 5, where the tip is entered into the rail groove. As shown in Reference Figure 5, the product is attached to the rail by fitting the rail groove into the rail. The fixed claw and the movable claw maintain the attached state of the product by locking them to both side edges of the rail. Furthermore, as shown in Reference Figure 6, when the base is removed from the rail, the movable claw can be moved and stored to a position where its rear end does not protrude from the base end face, and it can also be attached to a JIS standard type mounting plate by utilizing the recess in the base end face.
