Electronic computer with ship tracking function

Abstract

This item is a computer with the function of tracking ships. The image shown in the front view is for displaying the ship's track and indicates the position the ship has passed through. The rectangle near the upper left corner of the front view represents a portion of the track that the user has arbitrarily selected. When this portion is selected, the image transitions from the front view to modified front view 1. Modified front view 1 is an enlarged view of the selected portion. If the user selects the option "Show activity record" in modified front view 1, the image transitions from modified front view 1 to modified front view 2. This operation is performed by selecting the shape representing the track in modified front view 1 by clicking or other means. Modified front view 2 displays a record of the ship's activities along its track. The numerous concentric circles represent the positions the ship has passed through. Lines drawn only in black indicate that AIS (Automatic Identification System) data exists indicating that the ship was sailing. The white line drawn between the two black lines indicates that AIS data exists indicating that the vessel was engaged in fishing activities.
