Abstract

(1) Automobiles are usually equipped with assist grips on the front pillars to reduce the burden on passengers when getting in and out of the vehicle. (2) The automobile assist grip of this product consists of an assist grip body and two brackets. This assist grip has a main gripping part and an extension gripping part. The main gripping part is the portion of the assist grip body between the two brackets. The extension gripping part is the portion of the assist grip body opposite the other bracket, with respect to one bracket which is located approximately in the center. (3) After purchase, automobiles may be adjusted to lower the vehicle body height below the standard height according to the user's preference. In that case, the position of the pillar from the ground will also be lower than the standard position, and the height of the genuine assist grip may not be sufficient, making it difficult to get in and out of the vehicle. With the automobile assist grip of this product, passengers can grip the main gripping part when the vehicle body height is standard, and the extension gripping part when the vehicle body height is lower than the standard height. By doing so, passengers can grasp the assist grips at the appropriate height, making it easier to get on and off the vehicle.
