To provide a method for producing aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid crystals having high purity.SOLUTION: The present invention pertains to a production method for an aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid crystal, the method comprising a step for depositing aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid crystals from a solution containing an aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid and at least one polymer selected from anionic polymers, non-ionic polymers, and cationic polymers, a polymer content in the solution being 0.0008 to 16 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
