EXAMPLES
[0088] <Example 1 and Comparative Example 1> [Protein digestibility (in vitro test)] (1) Preparation of feed composition A feed composition was prepared by adding the (A) and (B) components shown in Table 1 in the amounts shown in Table 1 to soybean meal (manufactured by Showa Sangyo Co., Ltd., containing 43% by mass of protein as component (C)) as a protein source and stirring in a mortar for about 5 minutes.
[0089] (2) Preparation of red sea bream extract enzyme Intestines were collected from red sea bream (Pagrus major), and purified water was added at a mass ratio of 1:1, which was then crushed in a mixer and filtered. The resulting filtrate was used as the red sea bream extract enzyme.
[0090] (3) Calculation of protein degradation rate In a 30 mL eggplant flask, 10 mg of the feed composition prepared in (1) as a protein derived from soybean meal, 50 μL of red sea bream extract enzyme, and 5 mL of phosphate buffer (pH 8) were added and stirred to prepare a crude treatment liquid. After 24 hours, 100 μL of the crude treatment liquid was placed in a sampling tube (1.5 mL capacity), and the sampling tube was immersed in boiling water and boiled for 5 minutes so that the entire amount of the crude treatment liquid in the sampling tube was heated. The heated sampling tube was centrifuged (10,000 rpm, 5 minutes) to deproteinize the crude treatment liquid, and a protein digestion treatment liquid (hereinafter, treatment liquid) was obtained.
[0091] Trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid (TCI) was added to the treatment solution and reacted at 60° C. for 1 hour, and hydrochloric acid was added and stirred to stop the reaction. The absorbance of the resulting treatment solution was measured at 420 nm. The absorbance at 420 nm was measured, and a calibration curve was drawn with tyrosine to calculate the protein degradation rate. The protein digestibility was evaluated as a relative value to the protein degradation rate in Comparative Example 1. The results are shown in Table 1. A higher digestibility value in Table 1 means that protein digestion can be promoted.

It was also confirmed that the red sea bream fry ingesting the feed composition of the present invention could grow without suffering from disorders such as diarrhea.
[0100] (3) Measurement of weight gain rate The weight of the fish was measured on day 0 and on day 28. The weight gain rate was calculated using the following formula: Weight Gain Rate = {(weight on the 28th day) / (weight on the 0th day) × 100} - 100
