Pulse wave measurement apparatus

Abstract

To provide a pulse wave measurement apparatus capable of making the angle of a detection surface of a pulse wave sensor track an artery.SOLUTION: This pulse wave measurement apparatus includes: a cylindrical part; a pulse wave sensor including a body, a strain body provided on one side of the body, and an opposing part provided on the other side of the body to be held on an inner side of the cylindrical part so as to make the strain part expose from one end side in an axial direction of the cylindrical part; a lid part fixed to the other end side of the axial direction of the cylindrical part; and an attachment part connected to the outer side of the cylindrical part to be attachable to a subject. A first face of the opposing part and a second surface of the lid part face each other, a pivot part is provided on either the first surface or the second surface, a recessed part through which the pivot part can be inserted opens to the other of the first surface and the second surface, and when the pivot part is brought into contact with the recessed part, the pulse wave sensor is swingable with a contact part of the pivot part and the recessed part as a fulcrum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
