Abstract
Disclosed herein is a method and composition for predicting the response of a subject to nutritional modulation therapy.Limiting the uptake of at least one amino acid by cancer cells can be used to treat or delay cancer.In some embodiments, nutritional modulation therapy is a dietary product that is substantially devoid of at least one amino acid.Compared with normal cells, many cancer cells have different metabolic and nutritional requirements for survival, growth and metastasis.
