Abstract
To provide an anti-inflammation agent for intraocular applications which can prevent an excessive inflammation in an intraocular tissue.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an anti-inflammation agent for intraocular applications that comprises an ERK-activating agent. The present invention also provides an anti-inflammation agent for intraocular applications that comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of active sulfur molecules represented by general formulae (1) and (2) and derivatives of the active sulfur molecules. R1S(S)nH (1) (In formula (1), R1 represents a L-cysteine (Cys), homocysteine (HCys) or glutathione (GSH) moiety other than a thiol group; and n represents an integer of 1 or more).
