Abstract

To provide a vehicle electronic control device improving convenience for a driver even when a power supply device becomes abnormal.SOLUTION: A vehicle electronic control device includes: a first micro processor for drive assistance or automatic operation control; a second micro processor for processing vehicle circumferential environment information; and a power supply device supplying electric power to the first micro processor and having a reset mechanism for resetting the first micro processor. The first micro processor determines presence / absence of abnormality of the power supply device, and boots the second micro processor regardless of this determination result. When the power supply device is determined to be abnormal by the first micro processor, the second micro processor outputs reboot signals for rebooting the first micro processor if the second micro processor receives information on abnormality of the power supply device via inter-processor communication between the first micro processor and the second micro processor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
