Abstract

To provide an electronic musical instrument which can produce sound with two singing voices and which, when three operators are simultaneously operated, can suitably control the sound production according to pitches corresponding to each of the three operated operators.SOLUTION: When a pitch corresponding to a key of a first note among a plurality of keys of a keyboard 101 is produced with a singing voice of a first singer (one of male and female singers), and a key depression for a third note is detected while a pitch corresponding to a key of a second note (second operator), which is depressed during the ongoing production of the first note, is produced by a second singer, a CPU 201 of an electronic musical instrument 2 controls whether a pitch corresponding to the third note is produced with the singing voice of the first singer or second singer on the basis of the comparison between the pitches corresponding to the first, second, and third notes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
