Abstract
To provide bacteria useful for improving the survival rate of eel larvae, agents for improving the survival rate of eel larvae that comprise the bacteria, and eel production methods using the bacteria and methods for improving the larval survival.SOLUTION: Provided is a bacterial strain selected from the group consisting of Tritonibacter mobilis-related IE200-5-15 (NITE AP-03896), Roseibium aggregatum-related strain 5 PME-31 (NITE AP-03897), and Vibrio atypicus-related strain IE200-5-26 (NITE AP-03898), and variants thereof capable of improving eel larval survival rate. Also provided are additives for raising eel larvae containing the bacterial strain, eel production methods using the bacterial strain, and methods for improving larval survival rate.SELECTED DRAWING: None
