Abstract

To provide a brilliant coating composition that is difficult to cause slip-down of a large particle size brilliant pigment after coating, has a novel appearance due to large particle size brilliant pigment, and can form a coating film excellent in adhesion.SOLUTION: A brilliant coating composition comprises an external phase component containing a resin emulsion, gel-like particles, and a brilliant pigment, wherein the brilliant pigment comprises a brilliant pigment with a particle diameter of 0.35 mm or more, and a content of the brilliant pigment with a particle diameter of 0.35 mm or more is 0.1-5.0 pts.mass for a total of 100 pts.mass of the external phase component and the gel-like particles, and the content of the gel-like particles is 20-50 pts.mass for a total of 100 pts.mass of the external phase component and the gel-like particles.SELECTED DRAWING: None
