To provide an image forming apparatus that allows an operator to safely remove a process unit.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a body frame; a process unit that can be removed from the body frame by drawing it out to one side in a first direction; a plurality of body-side contacts that project in a second direction and are arranged at an interval from each other in the first direction; and a plurality of unit-side contacts. The body frame has guide surfaces that extend in the first direction. The process unit has rollers. The guide surfaces each have an inclined surface that is inclined in one side of a vertical direction from an upstream side toward a downstream side in a draw-out direction.
