The cylinder head 90 comprises a mounting recess part 93 in which the lash adjuster 10 is mounted, and an oil supply path 94 that communicates with the mounting recess part 93. The lash adjuster 10 has a body 11 that is fitted into the mounting recess part 93, and a plunger 12 that is arranged in the body 11. The body 11 has a peripheral wall 14, and a plurality of body holes 16 that penetrates the peripheral wall 14 and opens to an innermost surface of a body circumferential groove 15, the plurality of body holes 16 is arranged so that when one of the plurality of body holes 16 is covered by air bubbles that are accumulated in the oil supply path 94 on an outer peripheral surface side of the body 11, the other body holes 16 can receive oil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
