AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing detection systems fail to identify which sensor among multiple sensors has responded to a change in the concentration of hydrogen gas, making it difficult to pinpoint gas leaks quickly and efficiently.

Method used

A detection device that acquires time-series data from multiple sensor elements, calculates an evaluation value based on comparison with reference values, and identifies the sensor element that has responded to the change in concentration using a simple configuration.

Benefits of technology

Enables accurate identification of the sensor element that has detected a change in hydrogen gas concentration, facilitating quick leak detection with reduced system complexity and cost.

Abstract

To identify a sensor element that has responded to a change in a physical quantity of an object to be measured from among a plurality of sensor elements using a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A detection device includes: an acquisition unit that acquires time series data of a composite characteristic value obtained by combining respective characteristic values of a plurality of sensor elements, each of which has a characteristic value indicating an electrical characteristic that changes in response to a physical quantity of an object to be measured; a calculation unit that calculates an evaluation value based on the time-series data acquired by the acquisition unit; and an identification unit that identifies, among the plurality of sensor elements, a sensor element that has responded to a change in the physical quantity of the object to be measured, based on a comparison result between the evaluation value calculated by the calculation unit and a reference value for each of the sensor elements.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
