Abstract

To realize an ice maker capable of controlling a concentration of impurities contained in water for ice-making to produce ices with a high transparency.SOLUTION: An ice maker (1) comprises: an ice-making plate (2) in which a liquid heat medium (20) circulates through an internal flow path (21): a water supply unit (3) that supplies water to a cooling surface (22) of the ice-making plate (2); and an ice-making water tank (4) that stores water (30) supplied by the water supply unit (3), and collects the water (30), which has not frozen on the cooling surface (22), of the water (30) supplied by the water supply unit (3). The water supply unit (3) supplies the water (30) to the cooling surface (22) until the water (30) in the ice-making water tank (4) is reduced to a predetermined amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
