Abstract

To provide a business support system and a business support method that support conversation-based searching of structured information.SOLUTION: A business support system includes: a storage unit that stores business data including data indicating an event that occurred in business, data related to cause of the event, and data related to a measure against the cause, relationship link information indicating a relationship between each piece of data included in the business data, context information indicating a context category of conversation contents related to an inquiry by a user, and a context ID that is information indicating a correspondence between a context category in the context information and a path indicating a relationship between each piece of data included in the relationship link information; an input unit that inputs information related to a first query by the user; a determination unit that determines, on the basis of the input information, a category of the context of the first query; and an output unit that outputs, on the basis of the context category and the context ID determined by the determination unit, information related to the first query from among data included in the business data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
