Drive shaft

Abstract

To provide a drive shaft which does not need a conventional flange structure.SOLUTION: A drive shaft 10 has a shaft 11 having a spline shaft 21, a cylinder 12 having a spline hole 31, and an annular bush 14. The cylinder 12 has the spline hole 31, a first cylinder hole 32, a second cylinder hole 33, a first end face 34 and a third cylinder hole 35 toward a second side in an axial direction from a first side in the axial direction. The spline hole 31 has an odd number of tooth bottoms, and a first tooth bottom 38a is located outside a radial direction rather than a second tooth bottom 38z. In a cross section face of the spline hole 31, when regulating a virtual rectangular form S between the first tooth bottom 38a and a tooth tip 41 located at a side opposite by an angle of 180°, and between both-side teeth 42 of the first tooth bottom 38a, an outside diameter D3 of the bush 14 is equal to or smaller than a length s2 of a long side Sb of the virtual rectangular form S, and a width W of the bush 14 is equal to or narrower than a length s1 of a short side Sa of the virtual rectangular form S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
