Abstract

To prevent abnormal termination of communication with a charging stand that does not correspond to a V2H-specific signal in communication from a vehicle equipped with a storage battery to the charging stand during charging.SOLUTION: A charge controller is provided in a vehicle including a storage battery, and includes a controller communicably connected to a facility for charging the storage battery or a facility for supplying power from the storage battery. The controller transmits a common signal receivable by either the charging facility or the power supplying facility to the charging facility or the power supplying facility when the charging facility or the power supplying facility is connected to the vehicle via a power cable, determines that the controller is connected to the power supplying facility when the signal received as a response to the common signal includes a signal specific to the power supplying facility, and transmits the common signal and the signal specific to the power supplying facility to the power supplying facility.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
