Abstract

To provide, in order to eliminate the possibility of multi-feeding of sheets caused by a feeding start when a sheet near a highest position suddenly rises to a highest point without being separated due to handling air while a sheet type where sheets such as coat sheets are attracted to each other is fed in a configuration where a sheet tray is not lifted, a sheet feeding device capable of preventing multi-feeding caused by unseparated sheets near the highest sheet position by an air outlet having a partition shape lower than a float suppression of the sheet and higher than a sheet filling index.SOLUTION: This sheet feeding device prevents a sheet sudden rise by placing sheets over a partition shape and separates the sheets in a sheet rising process by air by providing the partition shape to an air outlet when a sheet type where sheets such as coat sheets are attracted to each other is fed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
