Abstract

To provide a simulation method, a simulation apparatus, and a program using a large model reflecting actual specifications.SOLUTION: The simulation method is provided with: a first step of acquiring geometric shape information of a concavo-convex surface for an object having the concavo-convex surface; a second step of generating a reference concavo-convex surface model composed of elements that can be numerically analyzed by a computer based on the geometric shape information of the concavo-convex surface; a third step of duplicating the reference concavo-convex surface model and combining multiple models of the reference concavo-convex surface model, thereby generating a concavo-convex surface model of a predetermined size larger than the reference concavo-convex surface model; a fourth step of bringing the concavo-convex surface model and a structure model into contact with each other; a fifth step of relatively moving the structure model on the concavo-convex surface model while the structure model is in contact with the same; and a sixth step of detecting, when the structure model is moved on the concavo-convex surface model, a physical quantity detected in at least one of the structure model and the concavo-convex surface model.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
