Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a polyacetal resin composition and a molded article. [Background technology]
[0002] Polyacetal resin has an excellent balance of mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and sliding properties, and is easy to process, so it is used widely as a representative engineering plastic, mainly in mechanical parts including electrical equipment, automobile parts, and other precision machines. However, since polyacetal resin itself is an electrical insulator, it is inferior in conductivity and in the ability to remove static electricity that is generated by the sliding of parts containing polyacetal resin and that polyacetal resin is charged with.
[0003] As a technique for imparting antistatic properties to polyacetal resin, for example, a method of adding a block polymer consisting of a block of polyolefin and a block of hydrophilic polymer to polyacetal resin (see, for example, Patent Document 1) and a method of kneading carbon black into polyacetal resin (see, for example, Patent Document 2) have been proposed, but there are problems in achieving both rigidity and color tone. [0049] <Mechanical property evaluation> The obtained pellets were molded into ISO dumbbell test pieces for evaluating physical properties using a 5-ounce molding machine (manufactured by Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd., product name "EC100SX") with a cylinder temperature set to 205°C under conditions of a mold temperature of 90°C, an injection time of 35 seconds, and a cooling time of 15 seconds. The tensile modulus of elasticity of this test piece was measured in accordance with ISO527.
[0050] <Evaluation of color characteristics> The yellowness (b value) of approximately 20 g of polyacetal resin pellets was measured using a Nippon Denshoku Industries Co., Ltd. color difference meter ZE2000 with a halogen lamp as a light source.
[0051] The raw material components used in the examples and comparative examples are shown below.
[0052] (A) Polyacetal resin A jacketed, self-cleaning, two-screw polymerization machine (L / D=8) that allows the passage of a heat transfer medium was adjusted to 80°C. Then, trioxane was fed at 4 kg / hr, 1,3-dioxolane was fed at 42.8 g / hr (0.039 mol per mol of trioxane) as a comonomer, and methylal (water content 1.3%, methanol content 0.99%) was fed at 1.50 × 10 per mol of trioxane as a chain transfer agent. -3 In addition, 1.5×10 mol of boron trifluoride di-n-butyl etherate was added as a polymerization catalyst to 1 mol of trioxane. -5mol was continuously added to carry out polymerization. The polyacetal copolymer discharged from the polymerization machine was put into a 0.1% aqueous solution of triethylamine to deactivate the polymerization catalyst. The polyacetal copolymer with the deactivated polymerization catalyst was separated and recovered by filtration using a centrifuge. Next, 1 part by mass of an aqueous solution containing choline hydroxide formate (triethyl-2-hydroxyethylammonium formate) as a quaternary ammonium compound was added to 100 parts by mass of the polyacetal copolymer, mixed uniformly, and then dried at 120°C. The amount of choline hydroxide formate added was adjusted by adjusting the concentration of the choline hydroxide formate in the aqueous solution containing the choline hydroxide formate added. The amount of choline hydroxide formate added was 20 ppm by mass in terms of the amount of nitrogen derived from the choline hydroxide formate. The dried polyacetal copolymer was fed to a vented twin-screw extruder, and 0.5 parts by mass of water was added to 100 parts by mass of the polyacetal copolymer molten in the extruder. The unstable terminals were decomposed and removed at an extruder set temperature of 200°C and a residence time of 7 minutes. The polyacetal copolymer from which the unstable terminals had been decomposed was devolatilized under a vent vacuum of 20 Torr, extruded as strands from the extruder die, and pelletized. Thus, a pelletized polyacetal copolymer (weight average molecular weight Mw=32,000, number average molecular weight Mn=180,000, MFR=9.3g / 10min) was obtained.
[0053] (B) Hydrophilic resin B1: Polyvinylpyrrolidone (K-30) B2: Polyvinylpyrrolidone (K-90)
[0054] (C) Nitrogen-containing compounds C1: Sebacic acid dihydrazide (melting point 186°C) C2: Adipic dihydrazide (melting point 180°C) C3: Benzoguanamine (melting point 228°C)
[0055] Example 1 A mixture was obtained by uniformly mixing 100 parts by mass of pelletized polyacetal copolymer as component (A), 2.5 parts by mass of polyvinylpyrrolidone (B1) as component (B), and 0.1 parts by mass of sebacic acid dihydrazide (C1) as nitrogen-containing compound (C) using a Henschel mixer. This mixture was fed from the top feed port of a 40 mm vented twin-screw extruder with L (screw length) / D (screw inner diameter) = 48 set at 200 ° C, melt-kneaded at a screw rotation speed of 200 rpm, vent vacuum degree of -0.08 MPa, and discharge rate of 50 kg / hr, pelletized by a hot cut method at the extruder die outlet, and then the pellets were put into warm water adjusted to 40 ° C, stirred for a certain period of time, and then dehydrated using a centrifuge, put into a fluidized bed hot air dryer, and dried at a hot air temperature of 100 ° C for 3 hours to obtain polyacetal resin pellets. The molded pieces of the obtained polyacetal resin pellets were evaluated for antistatic properties, mechanical properties (tensile modulus of elasticity) and color characteristics. The evaluation results are shown in Table 1.
[0056] Examples 2 to 9, Comparative Examples 1 to 4 Polyacetal resin pellets were obtained in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the types and amounts of each component were changed as shown in Table 1. Measurements and evaluations were then carried out in the same manner as in Example 1.
[0057] [Table 1]
[0058] As shown in Table 1, it was found that the pellets, which are molded articles made of the polyacetal resin compositions obtained in Examples 1 to 9, have antistatic properties and can achieve both good tensile modulus and color characteristics. On the other hand, the molded articles made of the polyacetal resin compositions obtained in Comparative Examples 1 to 4 were insufficient in antistatic properties and could not achieve both good mechanical properties and color characteristics. [Industrial Applicability]
