To provide an electronic device that performs integrated multi-functions using a single rear video of a vehicle, and an operation method thereof.SOLUTION: In the present disclosure, an electronic device is configured to receive a rear video from a camera device and process the rear video as a plurality of target videos for a plurality of functions. For a digital video recording system function, the electronic device stores the rear video as a first target video. For an around view monitoring function, the electronic device displays a portion of the rear video as a second target video that is a portion of the around view video of the vehicle. For a digital rear view monitoring function, the electronic device displays a portion of the rear video as a third target video on a digital rear mirror.
